We are who we were or we will be what we are? This question makes me think about the great technological capability that today is handled from the beginning of human existence. These words were spoken by Itziar Azkona remind me of all those who are part of our development today. Today at days we investigate and describe new things, thanks to our geniuses of the past years, which dedicated her or him life to discovering new ideas. But we do know that is a genius? A genius is a person who has an unusual ability and is equipped with either a talent or a skill and it cannot be equal to that of another human being.

Then we can say that geniuses are not 100% intelligent people but rather a person who born to perform some activity. What determines a genius is a passion for making the study part of the everyday life of him or her. Just live to satisfy their need to explore and grow their knowledge. The development of the word genius begins in ancient Rome when they are called geniuses such as knowledge or guide people of know. It is true that genius comes from genes? According to Michael J. Gelb “it is a gift that brings everyone and there is no intelligence culture or a way to create brilliant beings”. So we come to the conclusion that people are born with a gift which with the passage of time and maturity is developing and this is how today we can say that we have great discoveries and new technologies thanks to the different types of geniuses.

Now at days we find at least seven different types of geniuses among these we can found geniuses that develop in the area of literature, who are called verbal-linguistic. Another type of genius is mathematics, who is called numerical geniuses. There are geniuses of intrapersonal, interpersonal, space, environmental and physicists who are also unfold practicing, seeing and touching. Examples of these geniuses are the great athletes who often find it easier to do something, to memorize for example a language. In the old days mostly scientists were divided into four categories: math, literature, painters and musicians. But if we refund to the concept of the principle we realize that everyone has a don to make an activity which makes us geniuses. Often this gift is not easy to achieve but you can found it doing different activities and got out of the comfort zone. Recall that our brain is a muscle, when you stop thinking stops working properly. What kind of genius are you?

Definitely there were many types of geniuses, however it is important highlight that it is difficult to find a female genius because in the old days women had little connotation among society. Doing some research I found a woman whose development was fundamental in the study area of radioactivity. Her name is Marie Curie, this young genius born in 1867 on the 7th of November, was one of the first women to receive a doctorate thanks to its ability in the study and it should that were a great achievement for women's liberation. This great woman stand out in the great minds and received two Nobel Prizes, one in 1903 of physical and another of chemistry in 1910. Around the age of 67 died by a health complication, is said to have been by large exposure to chemical materials she drove. Definitely a major breakthrough for the technology and a great satisfaction for the female gender.

Now back to the first question, we are what our ancestors left or rather will be in the future what we are today? This question I leave to you. Definitely it is easy to decipher that without the geniuses of our history, our present would not be the same. Thanks to all those people who dedicated their time to research on ideas, because thanks to this we now have advantages and capabilities more easily reach an achievement in science or any other important activity.

Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.

Thomas A. Edison
